We had such an amazing time today at Ten Oaks Elementary for Career Day!

The kids were incredibly engaged, curious, and full of great questions. One of the most common being:
👉 “How long does it take to build a pool?”

(We loved seeing how interested they were in the process from start to finish 👷‍♂️💦)

It means so much to us to be able to show the next generation what it takes to design, build, and bring backyard dreams to life. From safety and engineering to creativity and craftsmanship. Being a pool builder is so much more than just digging a hole!

At Del Mar Pools & Spas, we truly believe in investing in the kids of our community—because they are the future. 💙

Spring pollen season is here in the Carolinas! If you’re noticing yellow dust on your pool surface or waterline tile, here’s how to keep your pool crystal clear:

✔️ Run your pool longer – Increase your pump run time during heavy pollen days to keep the water circulating and filtering properly.
✔️ Empty skimmer baskets often – Pollen can clog them quickly.
✔️ Brush the waterline tile – A quick brush helps prevent that yellow pollen ring from sticking to the tile.
✔️ Keep chemicals balanced – Proper sanitation and pH levels help your pool fight organic buildup from pollen.

A little extra maintenance now keeps your pool sparkling and swim-ready all spring. 💐💦
