A little full circle moment. đ„čđ«§
Last year, Bubble Tot was barely getting started when Kat + Lauren Little Seeds graciously let me attend the Little Seeds Fair last minute. I wasnât a vendor. I didnât have a booth. I was just trying to get our name out there, and they gave me the opportunity to put some flyers in their goodie bags and connect with the vendors who were there.
Some of the businesses I met that day became some of our earliest supporters. Many of them are people Iâve built genuine relationships with and still talk to and work alongside today.
Yesterday, we came back to Little Seeds. This time, not only as a vendor, but as a platinum sponsor. đ
And I donât think I was prepared for how that would feel.
Over the last year, weâve built so much more than I imagined when I was handing out those first flyers. Weâve built a brand. Weâve built a community. Weâve cleaned a LOT of baby gear đ and, more importantly, weâve been able to support so many caregivers through car seat safety education, resources, and simply taking one more thing off their already-full plates.
Yesterday, people walked up to our booth and told us theyâd seen Bubble Tot before. That theyâd heard about us. That someone had recommended us. Some had even used our services before.
That was surreal.
There are so many people and small businesses who gave me a chance before Bubble Tot was something people recognized. Who shared our name, referred a friend, invited us into their spaces, answered my questions, collaborated with us, or simply cheered us on.
I donât take any of that lightly.
Kat + Lauren, thank you for making space for me last year when I was brand new, and thank you for having us back this year in such a big way. đ„č And a huge thank you to Lily Kathryn Shields for connecting us, youâll never know how much that means to me!
And to every caregiver, business, friend, referral partner and person who has supported Bubble Tot along the way⊠thank you. Truly.
Weâre just getting started. đ«§đ€
