The Mess Isn’t Me

There are dishes in the sink, 🧼
laundry piled across the floor, 🧺
toys scattered like little stars ✨
and things I can’t ignore anymore. ❌

But sometimes the mess is more
than what the eyes can see.
Sometimes getting out of bed
is the hardest chore there can be.

A messy room doesn’t mean
a messy heart or mind.
Sometimes you’re simply surviving
while the world keeps asking you to shine.

So I’ll start with ONE small corner,
ONE load, ONE little thing.
I don’t have to fix it all today,
I just have to begin.

And if tomorrow brings more chaos,
I’ll remember what I know:
MY WORTH WAS NEVER MEASURED
BY HOW SPOTLESS MY HOME COULD SHOW!

Because sometimes cleaning the house
starts with being gentle with yourself.
And sometimes the first thing
you need to pick up
is you.

💜 A LITTLE MONDAY REMINDER 💜

I hope everyone has a really great week ahead. But if your week doesn’t start out great, please remember this:

Your house being messy does not mean you’re lazy.
The dishes piling up does not mean you’re failing.
The laundry mountain does not define you.
Sometimes life gets heavy, and when your mind is overwhelmed, even the smallest things can feel impossible.

I know because I’ve been there. ❤️

That’s one of the reasons I care so much about what I do. Cleaning isn’t just about making a house look pretty. Sometimes it’s about helping someone breathe a little easier, giving them a fresh start, taking one thing off their plate, and reminding them that they don’t have to do everything alone.

So this week, give yourself some grace. Take it one room, one load of laundry, or even one small task at a time.

I want to tell you something personal about why I do what I do. ❤️

Before my divorce, I got to a point in my marriage where I was completely burnt out.

I was trying to hold together the house, the kids, the responsibilities, and everything else life was throwing at me. And even though I had a spouse, I often felt like I was carrying the home by myself.

Eventually, I just broke down.

And my house showed it.

The piles piled up.

Laundry. Dishes. Toys. Random stuff everywhere.

I would start cleaning a cabinet and pull EVERYTHING out because I genuinely thought, “Today is the day I’m finally getting this organized.”

Then I’d get overwhelmed halfway through, lose my ability to focus, and walk away.

Now there was an even bigger mess.

😂😭

With ADHD, I also have a hard time putting things away where I can’t see them. So things would end up in piles because at least then I knew where they were.

But eventually I’d look around and see ALL of it.

And honestly?

It made me sick.

I wasn’t looking at a dirty house.

I was looking at a visual representation of how overwhelmed I felt inside.

And the worse I felt, the harder it became to clean.

The harder it became to clean, the worse I felt.

It was a vicious cycle.

I remember being embarrassed.

I remember thinking someone would walk into my house and wonder how I could possibly let it get that way.

But the truth was…

I cared.

I cared so much.

I just didn’t have anything left.

That’s why I will never walk into someone’s home and judge them for the mess.

I know what it’s like to be the person who desperately wants a clean home but genuinely doesn’t know where to start.

I know what it’s like to need someone to come in and help without making you feel ashamed.

And that’s exactly what I want Clear Path Cleaning to be.

Not someone standing there judging your piles.

Not someone wondering why you didn’t just clean it yourself.

Someone who walks in and says, “I’ve got you. Let’s tackle this together.”

Because sometimes a clean home isn’t just about having a clean home.

Sometimes it’s about finally being able to breathe.

Sometimes it’s about getting your confidence back.

Sometimes it’s about creating a little peace when everything else feels completely chaotic.

And sometimes you just need somebody who gives a s**t. ❤️

I’ve been that overwhelmed person.

So if that’s where you are right now, I see you.

And I understand more than you probably realize.

💜 Sometimes a clean home isn’t really about the home.💙

Sometimes it’s about the mom standing in the middle of the mess thinking…

“I don’t even know where to start.” 😵‍💫

The laundry has piled up. 🧺
The dishes are everywhere. 🍶
The floors haven’t been touched in who knows how long. 🧹
The kids need you. 🧑‍🧒‍🧒
Work needs you. 💫
Life needs you.🫶🏻

And you’re exhausted. 🥱

Not lazy. 💗
Not dirty. 💗
Not failing. 💗

Just overwhelmed.

I’ve been thinking a lot about why I started Clear Path Cleaning, and honestly, it’s bigger than cleaning. 💪🏼

I want to help the moms who are struggling.

The moms who are doing everything they can just to make it through the day.

The moms who are dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, divorce, postpartum struggles, ADHD, financial stress, or simply the weight of being responsible for everyone and everything.

Sometimes your home gets so overwhelming that it starts making your mind feel even more overwhelmed.

And that’s where I come in.

I’ve seen what happens when someone finally has help.

A mom walks into a room that she hasn’t been able to face in weeks and suddenly she can breathe.

She can see the floor again.

She can sit at her table.

Her kids have somewhere to play.

She doesn’t wake up already feeling behind.

And sometimes that little bit of clarity gives her the energy to make the next phone call, schedule the appointment, get the kids back on a routine, apply for the job, take a shower, get outside, or simply wake up the next morning feeling like maybe she can handle today.

That’s what I mean when I say I don’t just clean.

I care.

I give a s**t.

Because I’ve been a mom trying to hold everything together, too. I know what it feels like when you’re doing your absolute best and somehow it still feels like you’re drowning.

So if you’re a mom who needs a fresh start, you don’t have to be embarrassed to call me.

You don’t have to clean before I come.

You don’t have to apologize for the mess.

You don’t have to explain yourself.
