With me cleaning and it coming to an end (cause I'm tired. I think 10 yrs is enough). I have some things that will change and things I will no longer do or accept up until I decide to stop.
1) There will no longer be appointments lower than $125. The STARTING pay for a basic cleaning is $125 (unless told otherwise depending on the service and size of the house. Your pay might start at $200+).
2) Extras (baseboards, windows, walls, etc by themselves) or large appliance cleanings (oven, fridge, deep freezer) start at $75 depending on severity (if you're calling only to get and extra done without a whole house cleaning). I've restored appliances ppl thought they were going to have to throw away for $35. Unt unt. Those days are over with. Starts at $75 and addtl extra service is $35 each.
3) Anything over 4 hrs is $50/hr and I still feel like thats being generous cause now you're going into my other appointments costing me money. Im starting to assume ppl think I don't have that much clientele but I do. I had gotten to the point where i had to learn to separate myself from some ppl who try to take advantage, use me or think they could handle me any kind of way so I'm not as available as I was cause i have to protect my mental health and give me days off, but I do very much so have booked up days and weeks so thinking you can hold me in your home because you think that's all I have to do for the day is either you pay or I have to go. I love y'all though.
4) I will no longer barter. It don't equal out the same to me. Ex: I will barter with someone in exchange for a cleaning, but what y'all do don't equal out to what I do. Baking a cake, giving me a ride, giving me a plate, doing my nails (just giving some examples) ain't like me cleaning your whole house. It's not. I'm on my hands and knees, scrubbing, wiping, and some folks live a certain way and it be a lot so no I'm no longer bartering after the New Year.
