Regular Bleach vs. Germicidal Bleach
The CDC Guidelines for Disinfection and Sterilization in Healthcare Facilities (2008) defines a standard 1:100 solution of household bleach based on achieving 525–615 ppm available chlorine. This germicidal bleach is stronger than regular household bleach. Germicidal Bleach is a high-quality concentrated disinfectant that kills a broad spectrum of microorganisms and is excellent for controlling mold and mildew in bathrooms and other germ-prone areas.
