Why XPEL and not a cheaper film?

Our owner calls that a loaded question, one that's "digging for me to say something negative about someone else's material." He won't do it. "There are other great films out there."

His reasons for XPEL are about what stands behind the film: the warranties, the customer service and the training. "They have sent trainers to us on multiple occasions."

Then he handed the choice back to you: "Do your own research and decide for yourself."

The wall in our shop shows the lineup: PRIME XR and PRIME CS window film, FUSION PLUS ceramic coating. Come compare the shades in person before you pick: https://www.apexceramiccoatingandppf.com/window-tint?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=organic_social&utm_campaign=social-2026-11

"Nobody explained to them how to take care of the WPF after the fact."

That's our owner on this Raptor R. WPF is the protection film on the windshield, and this one started having issues.

So we pulled the windshield film and the old paint protection film and installed new film. The owner added an 8-year ceramic coating on top.

Good film still needs someone to tell you how to care for it. If yours came without that talk, ask us in the comments. We'll answer.

This is the room your car sits in when it comes to Apex.

We're a veteran-owned shop, XPEL certified and IDA certified, with two locations: one in Phenix City, AL and one in Columbus, GA. Ceramic coating, paint protection film and window tint.

For the next few weeks we'll show you the cars that came through the shop this month and the work behind them.

At the end of the day, nobody’s perfect and every installer makes mistakes. But what separates a good shop from the rest is accountability and stepping up to make it right.

🛑 This Raptor R was originally done at another local shop, but rolled into our bay with lifting edges, fingers all through the film, zero warranty, and no aftercare advice. The owners thought that was just the standard.

We showed them our standards, and they trusted us to completely redo and fix the front-end PPF. We backed their windshield film with a full guarantee and surprised them with an upgrade from a 5-year to an 8-year ceramic coating.

Mistakes happen, owning them and doing right by the client is what counts. 🛡️✨
