Miss Clean of Columbus is a privately-owned company offering residential and commercial cleaning services, as well
as professional home decluttering and organization.
We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented cleaning professional to help serve both residential and commercial
clients. The ideal candidate will be punctual and friendly, with a high-level of integrity, and a commitment to excellence in customer satisfaction. Strong verbal communication skills are a must, as well as a willingness to take direction and incorporate supervisor (and client) feedback into an ever-improving job performance.
Primary responsibilities will include cleaning areas including but not limited to offices, living rooms, game rooms,
hallways, stairs, entries, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens. Our new cleaning professional will be asked to complete project-based checklists and confirm by personally inspecting each task is being completed satisfactorily.
Responsibilities & Duties:
• Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, and sweep assigned areas
• Make beds, as required
• Perform light general straightening and decluttering
• Thoroughly clean and rinse tub and/or shower
• Disinfect toilets inside and out, including base and behind
• Vacuum, sweep, or mop floor
• Dust and sanitize all surfaces as needed
• Other general cleaning as indicated by the home or business owner
• Sort and wash laundry using machines or by hand as required
Qualifications:
• Experience with steaming, ironing and caring of luxury fine linens and delicate fabrics
• Understand which products and household chemicals are appropriate for given tasks
• Experience in the care of fine finishings, special surfaces (artwork, antiques, etc)
• Physically able to carry up to 45 pounds
• Operate a vacuum backpack and maintain sense of space while working
• Walk up/down stairs carrying various pieces of equipment or cleaning supplies
• Work on hands and knees (wearing knee pads) as needed
