Come celebrate my birthday this year in a different way. On September 26th. from 10-12 we will be cleaning litter at Hamilton Twp. Park. We will have our 5 canoes there to float up and downstream to clean in the Walnut Creek. Feel free to bring your own boats. You can wade in too. For anyone who’d prefer staying dry, you can walk the parks trails, river banks, or along the park borders. The first 10 people to ask will get a free t-shirt. After, we will head over to Possum Holler Pizza for some fun. There, I’ll have 25 drink tickets for anyone interested in a free beverage. Please RSVP on our website clearcreeksandbyways.com. For a limited time, SWACO is accepting mattresses and box springs for recycling. Old, dirty, ripped and yellowed mattresses and box springs that are dry can be dropped off for FREE recycling at SWACO’s Recycling Convenience Center. We accept all sizes of both traditional and memory foam mattresses and box springs. The opportunity is part of a pilot project and is limited. Mattresses will not be accepted after Nov. 30, 2026.
