(1) Check credentials. 👀
“Make sure the Moving company that you are working with is legitimate/trustworthy"

2) Check whether the Moving company you may hire is using employees or contractors.
Contractors are able to sue you directly for any injury on your property. 🤕

3) If you are choosing a Moving company that has contractors or sub contracts moves, make sure you have moving insurance through your homeowners/renters insurance. 🏠

4) Do not make a deposit without a contract. 📝

5) Ask when the clock starts, many other moving companies now charge from when they leave their office. Adding time/cost. 🛻 💨

6) For new construction moves, concrete must down at least three months before pulling into the driveway. Ask your builder. 🅿️
