Went from the dirt to the concrete this week and started the bridge deck patching for the city of Fort Wayne. Drivers i know it’s an inconvenience but please watch for construction on roadways to keep us all safe. The weather is starting to turn and it won’t be long until days like today would be welcoming in the cold winter months!

This spring has been a busy one! I’m not good at posting pictures of all the work we do but took a moment to snap a few shots of the levy we just finished up for the city of Ft Wayne. It was washed out and full of trees and weeds. We cleaned it up and hauled in 14 loads to get the slope back to what it was at one time and installed 4 loads of rip rap in various places. Thanks to all of our customers for the continued support!

Got a call that a private community had a water leak. After digging up the hydrant and valve we found the top of the valve had a decent sized leak along with the bottom seal in the hydrant. This week started out with a sewer line repair that turned into replacing a section of the city main line! It was a daylight to dark repair after discovering a 8ft wide 4ft deep sink hole under the road but we got it done and the road opened back up about 5:30 tonight. Thank you Richard’s well service for the extra hands today as it was very much needed and appreciated!

Knocked out another building pad yesterday. With the hillside we had to work with we took the existing grade and keyed in the clay in compacted lifts. 118 loads of clay later they are ready to build!

Took advantage of the weather to get this 60’x60’ pole barn pad in. On to the next project tomorrow!

It has been a very busy year! I realize I have not even had time to post anything on the jobs we have done. Here is a current pond build we are doing for a great customer! We started with clearing 2 acres of of heavily wooded area then went on to do a core trench on the bottom 3 sides and started to build the dam up to grade. Here is some pictures of what it was before we started and where we are at on it now. More to come as we build!
