Bug Be**er Balm made with 100% pure beef tallow and an essential oil blend specifically formulated to aid in repeling bugs. Helps repel mosquitoes, flies, knats, and ticks and keeps you bug free for several hours. It is now available in 2oz, 4oz and 6 oz containers. I absolutely love it! One of my daycare kids has some serious skin issues. He scratches and bleeds all over. Parents have tried every cream and lotion possible. Even the prescription lotions and steroids. One day he was broke out on the tops of his feet. He just sat on the floor crying and scratching and getting blood all over. I put some tallow on his feet and it instantly soothed him. I felt like I was giving this two year old a massage! Now whenever he starts to itch someplace he comes to me and points to the jar of the tallow and wants me to put it on his patch of dry skin. We don’t reach the point of him bleeding and crying anymore.

My bug free version of tallow, Bug Be**er Balm, is now available. If you hate the flies, knats, and mosquitoes or whatever bugs annoy you when you are trying to enjoy these Michigan summers then this balm has got you covered with no greasy feel. Research shows that a specific blend of oils helps keeps bugs off for a minimum of 2 hours but with my unique blend, my husband and I have had all day success! Message me if you are interested.

I've launched a new business called Momma Hens Homestead Creations and we are super excited for this growth after almost 4 years being a business owner. Not only do we offer cleaning services/ professional organizing via zoom, we now offer amazing skin care tallow products and bees wax wraps . Many things coming soon message me for details.

The mission of Momma Hens Homestead Creations is to sell organically/locally sourced and sustainable skin care and household items to use proceeds to provide homegrown foods to those in our community both free and low cost via donation. Support of purchasing the items will aid in our mission not only to serve God but also our brothers and sisters in the community.

Skin care tallow is available in quantities by demand via my page/messenger and soon on etsy.

Scents include vanilla, unscented/plain (will have a subtle beefy scent but it dicipates quickly), lavender, lavender and vanilla, frakencense and mrryh and avail soon is the bug repellent version, Bug Be**er Balm as well as custom to order scents by request and holiday scents for the fall and winter. Plain unscented, like all of the tallow products we make is ultra filtered for purity and is safe for cooking!
