🍔 Free Community Meal – This Thursday, 11/13!

If you haven’t heard, we’re hosting a community meal for anyone affected by the recent SNAP benefit pause. If you or someone you know has been impacted and could use a hot meal — please come by!

📅 Thursday, 5–7 PM
📍 4343 Carter Creek Pkwy

We’ll have plenty of food to share:
🍔 400 burgers
🌮 150 taco plates
🧒 150 kids’ plates
🐖 100 pulled pork sandwiches
🥟 300 eggrolls

This is about community helping community — no questions asked, just good food and good people. ❤️

Get ready for freezing weather! To be safe, run your pool equipment 24 hours a day to make sure that you have a little water coming out of each water fixture and spa jets so that your plumbing equipment does not freeze!

The more you know!!

Mobile Swimming Pools were a popular way to cool off in larger cities in America in the 1960s.

And for those who couldn’t get to a pool, New York City brought a pool to them. These were the “swimmobiles,” pools attached to a truck which could be parked on a street all day and conveniently towed away at night. Swimmobiles started in the 1960s and became very popular.
