Ever wonder how cleaning windows with pure water and a water fed pole worked? Here’s the basics! Tap water is pushed through a filter (in this case, a fiberglass canister filled with about .5 cu/ft. of deionizing resin) which removes all particulates, minerals, salts, chlorine, calcium, etc. from the water. The resulting deionized (pure) water contains close to zero PPM (parts per million) contaminants, meaning there are zero hard water stains when it dries! This allows us to scrub the glass, sills, and frames with a brush to agitate any dirt on the panes and rinse it from the ground, resulting in a crystal-clear spot free window without the added risk or effort of moving or climbing ladders to clean glass using squeegees the traditional way.
