Happy Halloween Spokane Washington! 🎃 👻
When the nights grow cold in Spokane during the fall transition into winter we always get an increase in Mice calls.
The first thing we look at is the garage door which is often the easiest way for mice to get in. Here are some garage doors, garage floors, and garage attics. This is a great example of entry and exit points, nesting, and the start of the plumbing travel mice make.
Classic stories we are told as children talk about what goes bump in the night? The answer is most likely mice. Tom and Jerry showed up holes in the walls, mice chewed through the dry wall very easily. Mice are mammals, like us the cold rain and freezing temperatures are painful. Getting into a warm house is urgent for winter survival. The wall voids provide shelter, nesting, and protection from predators, such as the house cat. 😺
