Confession time! 🫣 Even those of us who live and breathe hot tubs make rookie mistakes.
Take a look at that lovely, cloudy ring around the shell in these photos. That’s what we call a "scum line," and I am officially turning myself in because it is 100% my fault. 🤦‍♀️
I put on some lotion last night, decided to skip the quick pre-soak rinse this morning, and let’s just say... the hot tub remembers. 🧴🛁
Consider this your friendly, slightly embarrassing reminder that the pre-soak shower isn't just a suggestion! A quick rinse before you jump in works wonders to wash away lotions, body oils, and deodorants.
(Bonus pro tip: never wash your hot tub swimsuit with laundry detergent! Just rinse it in plain water and hang it to dry so you aren't bringing soap suds into the tub.) 🩱💧
The payoff? Your water stays crystal clear, your filters last way longer, and you don't have to spend your relaxing weekend scrubbing the dreaded tub ring. 🧽✨
