I see that there is a new auto car wash that everyone's excited about in Ellsworth.

Im here to shed some education on both touch and touchless auto washes.

Here we go:

1. The person before you went through a mud pit. Now all those rocks are locked in the brushes of both touch and DIY washes.

2. Too much soap and wax, not enough water. This damages your glass and paint, and you will spend thousands to repair your vehicle for the convenience of being inconvenienced.

3. The brushes with the locked in dirt that touch your vehicle cause some serious marring to paint, often requiring paint correction. When you have your paint corrected, the technician is taking clear-coat off to level everything out; you can only paint correct a vehicle so many times before there's no material left to repair.

4. Deep scratches require a new paint job. Period. You cannot fix deep scratches that go through the clear coat without removing material and re-clearing.

5.scratches that go through the paint to the primer require the material to be removes, reprimed.. painted, etc.

Those cheap memberships will cost you thousands in the long run. Your vehicles are serious investments now adays, and with the cost of maintenance, fixing the paint is not something most people think about, yet need.

We sell handwashes for 30$. I can make packages for hand washing that take 15 minutes of your time, and are the best way to keep your ride clean without introducing a bunch of marring.

6.There is no such thing as a perfect paint job. Not even a brand new vehicle has perfect paint. But. At East Coast Detailing and Diagnostics, we can help add protection, instead of taking it off.

7. A touch wash cannot remove road- line paint. .
If they can, not safely.. We can here at East Coast.

Right now, were looking for donations for one of our employees.

Dustin was out walking with his family, and a drunk driver hit them, pinning his Fiancé under the vehicle.

I can't tell you how sick to my stomach this makes me. I wish there was more that I could do than ask for money.

Several people have donated so far, and this is to make sure their rent doesn't fall behind and other bills.

We are raffling tickets for 20 $ for 1 entry. 50$ for 3. Prizes are a Detail and undercoating.

Were also going to donate 20% of each job booked in the next couple of weeks.

It is with a heavy heart that i announce another fundraiser..

One of our technicians, Dustin, and his family were walking down the side of the road. What they thought would be a family event, turned into a nightmare when Dustin had to push his children out of the road due to a drugged driver swerving towards them.

The vehicle struck Dustin and his Fiancé, Breaking his ribs and leaving him banged up, and with HER legs broken.
