In Florida, one of the toughest ants to eradicate when they come into a home or business are Crazy Ants. They are another one of those "imported" problems we are facing. They are the only known organism on this earth that can emit an ionic solution to protect itself from the venomous sting of a Fire Ant. Once Crazy Ants establish themselves, they will displace all other species of ants in the same area over time. They are that aggressive. Here are two photos of crazy ants feeding on a DuPont ant bait called "Advion". Crazy ants seems to love it, but it does them in before they can get back to the nest and share it with the queens. If you are having issues with ants, message me and I will give you the benefit of my experience.

Attention all Practical Pest fans, Practical Pest in Tennessee is closed, however, I love the information this page has brought to all my FB friends, so I will continue to post here. I will still help anyone identify a pest they are having problems with, just message me and include a picture of the pest, I will do my best to give you the straight scoop. I'm glad this is in Missouri!!

Spiders falling from the ceiling. Spiders behind every mini blind. Spiders in the fireplace. Spiders "bleeding out of the walls." A family in Missouri finally had enough of this nightmare and vacated the home they were sharing with 6,000 brown recluse spiders--but will the spiders ever leave?

Where I found this spider was a little embarrassing, this photo was taken at the Drive-Thu window at a Zaxby's fast food restaurant (I was getting their Asian chicken salad ;-)) in Ocoee, Tennessee. This spider measured over 4 inches from the end of one leg to another. This is a Dolomedes spp. spider, better known as a fishing spider.
