The Forest was good to The Bounty House this year. We were able to fill the freezer with plenty of for the next few months. I’ve been having so much fun experimenting with different recipes and how to substitute venison into almost any recipe. Here we have some Doe Steak Sandwiches, the first of the year, and of course shredded roast with .

The Original Bounty House.
My Great Grandpa Dan and Great Grandma Bonnie used to hold Haunted Houses, punkin picking, cider making, and all of the other perfect Fall activities here. I used to spend my summers playing here and learning to tend gardens and grow and preserve food. I’d help my grandparents with their businesses and my Gramma Christine A. Smith and Grandpa Bob at the Power from the Past steam engine shows.
Hopefully someday I will build this up to be as cool and fun as it’s namesake.
Love and miss you ♥️

Flashback Friday! Halloween memories can contain a lot of things, some fun and some not so much. (Nobody was laughing when they found Mr. Weaver's cow in the new Winamac high school building!)

Thanks to the owners for getting some great photos of it!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I got to make this arbor for the entrance to a haunted trail for some awesome people.

Made of repurposed pipe insulation, plastic wrap, and spray foam.

I had so much fun making this and I can’t wait to see it in all its spooky glory.
