🔍 Pool Troubleshooting: Water Clarity

After a busy Memorial Day weekend, many pools are working a little harder than usual ☀️💦

If your pool water starts looking dull, hazy, or cloudy, now is the time to address it — before the water actually turns green.

A few things pool owners should check 👇

• Sanitizer levels — is chlorine maintaining properly?
• Pump runtime — proper circulation matters. A general guide is around 1 hour per 10°F of temperature
• Filter condition — dirty, overdue for cleaning, or needing replacement?

Heavy rain, debris, sunscreen, and increased swimmer load can all impact water clarity this time of year as well.

Catching clarity issues early is one of the best ways to keep your pool clean, balanced, and swim-ready heading into summer 💦

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Weekend 🇺🇸

As a small family business, holiday weekends are one of the few chances we get to briefly step away, spend time together, and recharge as a family too 💙

We’ll be heading off camping for the weekend and looking forward to making a few memories with the girls ☀️🏕️

There will be no pool service Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

Service resumes Tuesday, beginning with Monday’s pools, and all pools will be serviced within 24 hours of their usual scheduled day. 💦

We’ll still be available throughout the weekend via text, voicemail, and email if needed, although responses may occasionally be a little slower depending on cell service where we’re camping.

We hope everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing, and memory-filled holiday weekend 💙

Think of stabilizer like sunscreen for your chlorine ☀️💦

Stabilizer, also known as Cyanuric Acid (CYA), helps protect chlorine from being broken down too quickly by the Florida sun.

Without enough stabilizer, chlorine can disappear fast — even if chemicals were recently added.

Like most things in pool chemistry, balance is important. Too little or too much can both create problems.

That’s why regular water testing matters 💦
