We are looking for an enthusiastic Telemarketer to generate sales either by cold calling or answering requests in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy products or services. A successful telemarketer must be friendly and persuasive. You must be able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs. The ideal candidate will be patient and cool-tempered to deal with aggressiveness and complaints. The goal is to promote business growth by expanding the company’s clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Call potential clients using a given phone directory to set initial appointment
- Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
- Use scripts to provide information about our services
- Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
- Persuade the customer to book an appointment by demonstrating how our services meet their needs
- Record the customer’s personal information accurately in a computer system
- Deal with complaints or doubts to safeguard the company’s reputation
- Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
- Fill out Daily Tracking Form for weekly report
- Follow up with potential clients by email (Microsoft Outlook) and phone
- Send additional information requested by interested client
- Enter all appointment information in Microsoft Outlook Calendar and send to appropriate recepients
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
B2B experience is preferred, but not required.
- Abililty to build a good rapport with potential clients.
- Ability to manage office functions efficiently, organize work, establish priorities and maintain good interpersonal relations.
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Excel, - Word, Outlook) and telephone systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in English (Proficient in Spanish as well is a plus)
- Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Patient and able to handle customer rejection
- Positive attitude
Team Player
- High school diploma; BSc/Ba is a plus
