Do you remember the BIG thing we hinted was coming? Well, it’s FINALLY complete!
Over the last few months, we’ve been working on a special project that we referred to as our “back-burner” project. What does that mean? We worked around our subcontractors, keeping this project moving forward and preparing it for the next phase of work, all while continuing to take care of the day-to-day projects that keep our excavation business running strong.
So, what was the big project? A custom 25’ x 40’ detached garage build!
One of the most unique aspects of this project was the HOA requirements. Everything from the exterior brick and trim to the windows and overall design had to be a true match to the existing residence for the build to be approved.
But here’s another interesting part of the story: the customer never originally called us about building a garage. We were first called out for a septic system replacement, which ultimately opened the door for us to bid on and take on the entire project.
We didn’t win this job by being the cheapest. We didn’t win it by offering bonus features or throwing in freebies. We earned this opportunity through honesty, integrity, and building the customer’s confidence that we would do everything in our power to deliver exactly what they wanted.
And that’s exactly what we set out to do.
Starting with a cleared piece of wooded property, we took this project from the ground up through completion, with just a few finishing details left for the customer to handle himself.
Projects like this are a great reminder that good relationships and trust can open doors to opportunities you never expected. We’re proud of how this one turned out and grateful to the customer for trusting Dirty Services with their project.
