Female Body Found in Vehicle Pulled from Cumberland River

Clarksville, Montgomery County, TN -
In the early morning hours, emergency personnel responded to a report from a boater who observed a van enter the Cumberland River near Lock B Road South.
After several hours of coordinated response efforts, emergency crews successfully recovered the vehicle from the river. A deceased female and a dog were located inside the vehicle. The female has not yet been identified.
The Montgomery County Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident. At this time, no additional information is available for release.
