Let’s put this into perspective for you!
Blanket cleaning companies are not just handling your blankets alone. They’re handling hundreds — if not thousands — of blankets in a single week, month, or year. This, alone, causes chaos.
Let’s add in the part where it isn’t regular laundry either. There’s specific methods, timeframes, and techniques for processing — such as air drying. You can’t just dump a bunch of blankets into a washer and be good. You have to meticulously label each one, know where it’s going, who it’s for, and what it needs. Don’t get us started on when there’s multiple customers with the exact same blanket!
Anyway, how about we start with chaos?
CHAOS —> This starts with multiple blanket pickups in one route, continues with everything being in the exact-same looking trash bags, and ends with it all being mixed around to fit inside of a vehicle. Not only that, but when it comes time to launder, you’ll be digging through hundreds of replica bags and be covered in dirt, debris, and mystery substances.
ORGANIZATION —> As a resolve to the chaos, we use colored tape to mark each bag’s origin. It’s far easier to figure out whose blanket goes where when you do it at the pickup location! Less thinking, more movement.
During laundering, order forms get pinned to the corresponding washers the blankets are in. Then when drying, we “intake” everything onto our custom-built spreadsheet. Every blanket gets its own visual description, number, and record of what services were done. If you called us today and asked, “What services were done to X blanket in 2024?”, we’d be able to tell you immediately!
The organization doesn’t just stop within our facility either. It extends to you, the customer, when you’ve gotten your blankets back. Custom ID labels with names, descriptions, and service records. In a barn full of 40 horses in the middle of winter, do you really want to be guessing if it’s Remy’s or Coco’s blanket?
TURNAROUND —> The equation of chaos and organization results in either a positive or negative.

When you’re able to test and successfully repeat processes, you’ll succeed in your results. We’ve spent hours testing, failing, succeeding, and learning to be where we’re at now. That’s why we can get a barn full of 40 blankets turned around in 2 weeks… ON TOP OF other orders that come in!
Roughly midway through 2024 when we had our “breakthrough” moment, we sat down and realized something. What would it mean to revolutionize a small, niche industry? How do we solve the common problems? And when you have very little money to work with, how do you get creative?
And for the customer— what do you value most? Knowing where your blankets are at? Having clear communications? TRUSTING you’ll receive your blankets back in the same month and not five months later?
We may not have the nicest facility or all the money… but we damn sure try to, and that’s all that matters.
