It’s amazing I see these companies do , what a mess !! brand new house not even in yet and the piping wasn’t correctly installed and could have burn the house down first fire..so many code violations . Electric wire aginist the chimney pipe !! They cut the rafters and and the whole roof was lose , pipe was not even remotely connected . And entire chase from
Roof up about to fall over … you can’t make this stuff up !! Way more just to even mention .call a professional . Chimney are not something you mess around with .

A comprehensive restoration was completed, including the removal and replacement of extensive rotten wood, installation of new wood with a v***r barrier, and the addition of metal step and counter flashing. The thimble was lowered to maintain a safe distance between the stove pipe and the beam. All issues have been resolved, and the area behind the chimney is now free of rot. The chimney was successfully reinstalled prior to noon today.

Both chimneys were completely saturated with water, resulting in significant water damage throughout the house. We were required to remove all the mortar, grind out, and repoint the entire chimney, utilizing our specialized roof scaffolding that enables us to perform the work without causing any damage to the roof, with a hook and roof scaffolding system. We also had to cut out a substantial amount of spalling brick and reinstall new brick.
And repair the crowns ..

This was extreme weather with lightning striking the tree adjacent to the chimney, causing the stainless steel liner to fail and create fractures in the chimney. The damaged section was removed and replaced with another stainless steel liner and a wood insert.

Removed loose stones, ground out and chipped out mortar joints, removed slate cap, and installed hip and ridge powder-coated inseam cap. During the process, we discovered that the liner did not meet safety standards or code requirements, prompting the installation of a new stainless steel liner, thereby protecting the metal roof from damage.during the process of the job !

This repair was intense but yielded a significantly improved aesthetic, featuring wire mesh ,screening and parging, followed by a finish color stucco finish, complemented by custom stainless steel powder-coated caps, a stainless steel liner, insulation, and a wood insert, as well as a custom gas insert in the other chimney. Both fireplaces were restored to optimal condition and are now functional and ready for use.
