Last day to pick up completed orders is Tuesday, April 23rd. All orders that are left behind will go to donation to needy organizations. My last day is Saturday April 27th. It will be a very sad day after 30 years.

Wanted to let my friends and family know that I am closing Anthony's Cleaners as of Saturday April 27th.

The economy sucks and nobody really dresses up anymore. People are working from home.

The cleaners has been around since 1890 and in Evendale for the last 50 years and where I have worked the last 30 years.

I will miss working with my daughter Mandie, Jay, Miss Trish and Annette.

Most of all I will miss the conversations with my customers!!!

Caramelized sugar stains- What are they?

These are yellow, tan or brown stains from fruit juice, soda, tomato juice, beer, or wine spills on a garment that show up after cleaning. These stains are usually invisible at first but when the substance is subjected to the heat of drying and finishing, the reduced sugar in these beverages will caramelize and turn colors, resulting in a stain. Remember to always point the soiled areas out so we can pre-spot them before cleaning.
