Been working on this clients yard for the last couple weeks! With the surrounding yards she was in, I finally got her! Took 7 traps to catch this little girl! She definitely gave me a run for my money to be the last gopher I catch in 2025!

Its had been awhile since I have had a Gopher on my property! Placed two traps, less than 24 hours & I got this beautiful little gal! I'm not gonna lie, I am a bit obsessed with her.😆 What a beautiful trophy she is! 🥰

GO-PHER The Kill Call & Got 'Em!
Hey Gopher Friends!
Got called out for a large project & Needless to say I am very happy with the outcome! I got 2 gophers - 1 female and 1 male! These little babes were so small, the trap clamps went right over them! No punctures! As I had suspected when placing the traps, the gopher is going to be small due to how small the tunnel is!
I have one more trip out to this property to see if we have tackled all the gophers! For now....Enjoy my Trophy Pictures!!😊🤗

GO-PHER the KILL CALL & CAUGHT EM'!
Got this big boy last week at a clients house! He was showing activity around a "newly" planted tree! But lemme tell ya - As I found this tunnel, I could see why he was comfy! The dirt was cool, soft, easy to maneuver through....boy oh boy. I knew he was a big one as soon as that tunnel opened up, Placed the trap about half of my arm length & BAM! I got em! His back end was ripped opened & he smelled HORRIBLE! So I quickly took my trophy picture & a few body pics & bagged him up! 😊
The coolest part (I think), is that the testicles on him were HUGE! 😆

GO-PHER THE KILL & NAILED IT!
I swear this is so fun sometimes😆😅
Here's little Miss ma'am who has been making a nice home around my yard hydrant! She's been here maybe for about 2 weeks making mounds before I decided I had time this morning to go take care of it. I placed 2 traps, about 10 hours later I got this little girl!
She's is SMALL! Like small enough that the trap didn't puncture her! No blood present at all! So she was there for awhile trying to escape - trying to turn in the tunnel - hence why she's in a "C" shape (She says hi!👋🏼)

GO-PHER The Kill Update!!!
Well, No Gopher Was Caught!!😫 Not all bad news! Good news is that there was no new signs of gopher activity from the initial visit & me filling in all the air pockets!! So now I dig a bit deeper in the tunnel, collapsing the dirt to end that portion of the tunnel and fill in the dirt! Looks like there was never a gopher here! 😉
Now all we can do is wait for another sucker to come along! 😊
When I went back to check the trap & as I reached my hand into the tunnel, the dirt in the tunnel started to collapse.
When dirt starts to collapse as I am searching/reaching into a tunnel, this tells me that there WAS a gopher present but hasn't been active in the area for awhile. I find this to somewhat be a good sign because there hasn't been another Gopher that's came through & tried to make a home!
Before leaving I saw there were a few areas where I filled in the pockets and "new" holes started to appear - I noticed this happens when the tunnels are old or no gopher activity. The dirt will just start to collapse into the tunnel & sometimes making "new" old holes. (I did not get pictures of the holes that re-appeared!😭)

GO-PHER The Kill Call!
This one was intense! A client needed help taking care of their gopher problem! Spending about 2.5 hours investigating, covering TONS of old "air pockets" & tunnels, & doing lots of digging! Then I finally got a good entrance to a tunnel! Only issue is that there's a pipe in my way! The way the tunnel was going was lined up with this pipe, luckily I've had this issue myself and can carefully maneuver around the pipe to place a trap!
I'll check back in about 24-48hours to see if I got a gopher!🤞🏽

Ever wonder if you have gophers?

Here are 2 signs that I see the most!
1. Fresh fine dirt that sits on top of the ground in a "volcanic" shape!

2. Holes in the ground that look like they might connect - I call these "Air pockets". These pockets will be seen almost in a line and looks like theres a underground tunnel....literally.
