We are still taking every precaution to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus and we will take any measures necessary to keep everyone safe. We will be running normal operating hours Mon-Sat from 8:00am-5:00pm. We are also still servicing after-hours and emergency service calls for those that need it. We are also taking extra precautions and our plumbers will be wearing surgical-type masks, shoe coverings, and gloves prior to entering the property to help prevent the transmission of any germs. We understand that plumbing is not really something that could just be put on hold. In order to continue operations as normal and promptly serve our customers, our plumbers are required to take these extra safety measures until further notice. We hope that we can help put you at ease and take more comfort in knowing that we are taking every possible step to keep everyone safe while providing an essential service that cannot wait until this pandemic ends. We may also ask our customers to wear a protective mask for their safety and for the safety of our plumbers as well. We will provide one for you if you don’t already have one. If you prefer not to wear a mask, we just ask that you keep at least a six-foot distance from the plumber. This is for you and your family's protection as well as it is for our plumbers and anyone they may encounter in the field working.
Regardless if you hire us for your plumbing needs or not, please be sure that whomever you hire to come work in your home respects your needs and safety and is taking this very seriously. It is of extreme importance that service workers especially take every precaution to follow at least basic safety practices during this time. Service workers and contractors interact with many people on a daily basis therefore are at more risk to be exposed to the virus. If they are not following the proper precautions and preventive measures, they could potentially be a delivery person of COVID-19 and facilitate an exponential transmission of the virus. We understand this and are doing what we can to continually provide a safe service environment for our customers and community.
Stay safe and we thank you for working with us on this. With everyone working together, we will get through this pandemic soon enough!
Many Americans have been adversely affected by this virus. 4S Plumbing has set up a fundraiser to help those who need it most. 10% of all proceeds from June 1st - June 30th will go towards helping people struggling financially and unable to pay for their plumbing work. We will use these funds to help people that need it most. You can nominate someone that is a good candidate to be a recipient of this program. Please submit a letter via email to [email protected]. We will review nominations and determine who will receive the financial help for plumbing assistance. Please make sure to explain why this person, family, or entity qualifies. Also. we are donating 5% of proceeds to a CAASH Charity, an organization that helps those most affected by COVID-19 including families and first responders. Please contact Bill Taylor for more details and/or questions you may have at 312-420-6081 Ext 9.
‘Busy beyond belief,’ a Northwest Side plumber says. ‘It’s more use of the toilets,’ says a west suburban plumber. ‘Handles are breaking, valves inside need to be replaced.’
