SMILE you're on camera!! ๐ธ
We have had a recurring problem this winter with people taking it upon themselves to open up bays when we have them closed. We have spoken with the authorities about this issue and they have confirmed that if someone ignores our "closed" signs, takes down our chains, and chooses to use a bay that we have closed, we would not be responsible for any personal injury or damaged property caused. Also, that anyone who opens one of our closed bays would be responsible for any damage to our property or equipment that is caused by the use of that out of service bay.
We understand that it is inconvenient and frustrating when we have bays closed. It's frustrating for us too! But if they are closed, they are closed for a reason. In most instances it is because we have a mechanical or plumbing problem and using the bay could result in extensive damage to our equipment. Other times, like the past couple of days, it is because the conditions in the bays are unsafe for customers.
Customer satisfaction is always our top priority. We want to provide the best wash experience we can while also ensuring the safety of our customers and the protection and maintenance of our equipment. We don't like it anymore than you do, but sometimes closing bays is an important part of keeping up with that goal.
Please keep in mind that we do have cameras, we check the activity regularly, and it is all recorded.
