Exciting news for our baseball fields…we have portable mounds for 3 fields this season! A BIG thank you to the Cherokee County Legacy Foundation, Rehab Systems-Mitch and Jess Knippel, and Matt and Julie Schubert for helping CYSBA make this goal a reality!⚾️🖤💛 Let’s play ball, Braves!

A memorial fund has been established for Officer Kevin Cram’s family at Iowa State Bank.

At tonight’s game between the Cherokee Braves and Hull Western Christian, Rehab Systems will be donating $100 per touchdown for both teams. The proceeds will go to the Kevin Cram memorial fund.

If you are willing to donate, checks can be mailed to Kevin Cram Memorial Fund C/O Iowa State Bank 5 East Call St., Algona, IA 50511. 

Our deepest sympathies and all of our thoughts and prayers go out to the Algona Police Department and the family of Officer Cram.
