🚨 THE REASON YOUR DRAINS ARE RUNNING SLOW (It might not be what you think!) 🚨

Take a look at this. 😱 We recently had to completely replace a customer's drain line and P-trap because it was almost 100% blocked off.

The culprit? It actually started years ago during a tile remodel. A little bit of leftover grout was washed down the shower drain. Once that grout dried inside the pipe, it created a rough, jagged surface.

🚨 Tip Tuesday: Is the Late-Spring Weather Stressing Your AC? ⛈️🍂
Between the heavy downpours, high humidity, and falling twigs or branches we’ve been seeing lately, our outdoor HVAC units are taking a bit of a beating.
While these systems are built to handle the elements, recent storms and high moisture can impact their efficiency and longevity. Here are 3 quick things to check on your unit this week to keep it running smoothly:
1. Clear the Debris Runway: Heavy rain and winds love to knock down small branches, leaves, and pine needles. If these get trapped inside or around your outdoor condenser, they can restrict airflow, forcing your system to work twice as hard. Grab a pair of gloves and clear a 2-foot perimeter around your unit!
2. Check for "Storm Slap": Falling branches don’t just block airflow—they can bend the delicate aluminum fins on your outdoor unit or damage electrical components. If you notice heavy branch impact or bent fins, it’s worth having a professional take a look before it turns into a major breakdown.
3. Manage the Humidity Load: High outdoor humidity means your AC has to work overtime to pull moisture out of the air inside your home. If your house feels clammy or your system is constantly running short cycles, your indoor coil might be struggling to keep up with the extra workload.
Pro-Tip: Never try to power-wash your outdoor unit to clean out debris! The high pressure can permanently flatten the coil fins and trap heat inside your system. A gentle rinse with a standard garden hose is all it takes. 💦
