Here are our policies to keep in mind ☺️☺️☺️
Safety:
Our professionals adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of PPE (gloves, masks, eye protection, etc.) and safe disposal methods.
Thoroughness:
Cleanup involves a comprehensive assessment, sorting and organizing salvageable belongings, and cleaning and sanitizing the areas worked on.
• This DOES NOT include cleaning, dusting, or fixing individual items in the house that are kept by the client.
• This DOES NOT include moving or inside cleaning of large and/or heavy furniture.
• This DOES NOT include shampooing or removal of carpets.
• This DOES NOT include reorganizing large and/or heavy furniture in a room or moving large and/or heavy furniture from one room to another room.
• WE WILL REMOVE large broken furniture or furniture to drop off at a donation location.
Respect and Compassion:
We understand that hoarding is a complex issue and approach the situation with empathy and respect for the individual's feelings and boundaries. Use of unmarked cars and proper but unidentifying attire (no company shirts or logos on clothing) are for your privacy.
Disposal:
Disposal of items, including donation of usable items, is a key part of the process.
For your safety and health as well as ours, we cannot accept or move forward with any clients unwilling to remove garbage and/or unsalvageable clutter from the home.
Follow-up Support:
We always highly recommend contacting us for follow-up support to help maintain a clutter-free and healthy living environment.
Confidentiality:
Maintaining the individual's privacy and confidentiality is essential. We will never share your private information, and we will never share photos or videos containing possible identifying factors such as, but not limited to, names or locations.
Communication:
Open communication with the individual throughout the process is vital to ensure they feel comfortable and involved in the decisions.
Cost:
Hoarding cleanup costs CAN vary based on the size and condition of the home, but we do our very best to base our services on financial situations, health conditions, and urgency and/or timeline!
