Do you need to clean before your housecleaners arrive? 🤷‍♂️

We see this question EVERYWHERE lately, so let's keep it real about how professional housecleaning works.

All cleaning companies have standard service minimums. For our team, our clutter and dish policy is a maximum of 5 items in any single area. Anything past that means extra time, which gets added to the invoice—since cleaning companies absolutely do get paid for their labor hours 💲

Here's a helpful distinction: housecleaners are there to professionally clean and sanitize your home—not to organize personal belongings. If you want a service that takes care of absolutely EVERYTHING (including picking up, organizing, and folding), that is actually classified as a "maid service," not housecleaning.

We love tailoring our services, so if you want to add organizing to your regular contract, we can definitely make it happen. But when a home isn't prepped, it stretches a standard time slot into the next person's time slot, and undoubtedly stretches our labor hours.

We share these policies simply to protect our team's time and to keep your recurring prices as reasonable as possible 💸
