I received a complaint call yesterday, "that my soap not showing in the wash cycle".

This is why you don't put powdered detergent in the small back detergent canister on top. They are for LIQUIDS ONLY. Your soap never makes it to the wash cycle, and clogs up everything. Put all your soap in front right canister. Minimize on the powders too. This was a whole morning mess to clean up on 4 machines. Please use your soaps wisely.

If you install the clean pay mobile app on your phone (at the app store), it is very easy to check availability of our machines on buzy days. Once there, look for Lucies Laundromat, Charlotte. We also have the scan code at our place that will do it for you. As well once installed, any time you visit with your phone, it will recognize you. Amazing modern tech applied to our laundromat.

At the app, click on the 3 bars, upper left hand corner, then room status at top of list of options. It will show all machines statuses, including time left on current run.

You can even request text notification when done by clicking on the bell upper right corner of each machine in use. Like an alarm clock 5 minutes before done or available.

Great new technology at your service. Not hard to learn, but will save you lots of time on our busy days. Money too, using the right size machine for your loads of wash during those buzy times.

We have 4-35lb, 4-50lb, & 2-65lb state of the art washing machines. Ours are the cadilacs of the business. Give us a try, and be amazed.

This is what tide pods do when deposited in the detergent buckets. They never make it to the washer and more importantly, your clothes during wash cycle.

Eventually, they clog up everything for future users if not cleaned.

All you need is one directly in the tub with your clothes.

This will save you money, and give you the best wash cycle.

Thanks

Why your clothes clean better in our machines.

In addition to the ozone injected, sani clean system, our machines have an extra prewash cycle to start off. The water then drains, and fills up again with your soap to begin the wash cycle. During the wash cycle, the drum repeatedly stops, and changes direction.

After the wash cycle begins another rinse cycle followed by 3 spin cycles, which gets your clothes dryer.

Our dryers repeatedly stop and change direction as well, getting your clothes uniformly dryer.

Please feel free to ask any questions about our excellent equipment.

A few tips for cleaner laundary.

1. Less is more. If you are using powder, a small box is plenty. You'll get more bubbles. Too much powder in the bucket clogs it up. Some brands clump up. Plenty of water solves that problem. Less powder increases that water flow, relatively speaking.

2. Likewise, soap pods best if put right in with the clothes. They also clog the buckets fiercely by gumming up and getting sticky before they make it to your clothes. They gum up the bucket drains, stop water flow. Please put those directly in with the clothes.

More tips as they materialize.
