Something new installed yesterday. 3HP, variable speed, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, touchscreen filter pump. Cool. This will result in a $70/month energy savings as I programmed it, compared the the old Single speed 1.5 hp pump. That's $2,520 less electricity within the pumps 3 year warranty period.

Customers and Facebook friends, there is no need to lower the water level in your pool for the storm. Doing so may actually cause great damage.
Unfortunately this man lost his life for no reason at all. He was fed misinformation.
If your pool is overfilled by the storm wait 2 or 3 days afterwards to lower the level to normal. Not before and certainly not during.

A boat that is filled with water can sink, and be destroyed. A pool that is drained of water can float, and be destroyed.

Heartbreaking.

Kids should not be able to bypass pool gates easily. This is why it is of the utmost importance that your gate is self-closing and self-latching. This ensures that the gate closes after somebody passes through it thus help blocking a child's access to the pool area.
