MTC Exterior Pro – A Huge Month and an Even Bigger Year Ahead

The past month has been one of our busiest of the year so far. Between a ton of stain projects, countless house and concrete washes, and a packed schedule of upcoming work, we’re incredibly grateful for the continued trust our clients place in us.

This year also marks a major milestone — our 5th year in business. To look back and see how far we’ve come is truly humbling. None of this would be possible without our amazing clients and the team that shows up every day ready to deliver quality craftsmanship.

We also added a new team member this year who has been an absolute standout. He’s exceeded every expectation and has been a phenomenal fit for our culture and the pace we operate at. We’re very grateful to have him on board.

Here are just a few of the projects we completed recently:

• Recoated a large deck for a client who practically lives outdoors — giving the space fresh protection and a clean, renewed finish

• Sanded and refinished two‑story balcony columns in a rich Walnut stain from Stain & Seal Supply restoring the wood beautifully

• Stained a privacy fence for DM Motorsports inc in a sleek grey tone that perfectly complements the property.

• Completed numerous house and concrete washes, brightening homes safely with our soft‑wash process

• Finished the front pasture fencing at Five Filly Farm , tying in additional sections for a seamless, uniform look — one of our favorite projects to date, and bittersweet to step away from such wonderful people and an incredible property.

• Stained a modern horizontal fence in Honey, showcasing the natural grain of the wood with a warm, transparent finish

• Recoated a deck in Cape Cod Red, bringing bold color and fresh life back to the space

• Restored a heavily worn deck with a deep, dark stain after years of pet and family traffic

• Stained a fence in Walnut and paired it with a deck finish that highlights the wood’s natural golden undertones for a cohesive outdoor aesthetic

And this is just a small sample of what we completed last month.

2026 Project Update

As we head into our busiest season, we wanted to share some of the projects we’ve completed so far this year. Each one reflects the level of care, detail, and craftsmanship we bring to every job.

Farm Project – Phase 2
We completed 12 horse stalls and the entire interior of a stunning barn, all finished in Walnut, including the tongue‑and‑groove walls. This project builds on the over 2 miles of fencing and multiple structures we completed for the same farm last year. Large‑scale woodwork like this requires precision, consistency, and a deep understanding of how to protect and enhance natural wood — exactly what we specialize in.

Deck Restoration After New Flooring
Once the new deck boards had time to cure, we stained the entire surface to protect the wood and bring out its natural beauty. A properly stained deck not only looks better but lasts significantly longer, saving homeowners money on repairs and replacements.

Mahogany Fence for a Returning Client
We were invited back by a past client whose garage doors we stained over two years ago — and they still look fantastic today. This time, we stained their fence in a rich Mahogany tone. Repeat clients are the best proof of long‑lasting results and trust in our work.

Teak Furniture Restoration
This client had owned their teak furniture for many years and wanted it restored rather than replaced. We brought the wood back to life, preserving its character and saving them the cost of buying new high‑end pieces. Restoration is often the smarter investment, and we love helping clients extend the life of what they already own.

HOA Community – Decks Completed
In 2023, we completed 36 decks for an HOA community. 14 of those decks received new Trex boards and repairs, and we spent a week recoating and staining the remaining wood to ensure a uniform, cohesive look across the neighborhood. Large community projects like this highlight our ability to deliver consistent quality at scale.

Brand New Fence in Honey Transparent
We stained a new fence in a warm Honey transparent finish that completely elevated the backyard. A quality stain not only enhances curb appeal but also protects the wood from weathering — perfect timing as the homeowners get ready to enjoy their pool this season.

Deck Re‑Stain After 3 Years
This client wanted a richer, darker look this time around. We fully restored, sanded, and recoated their deck in Pecan. A proper restoration brings older decks back to life and gives homeowners the chance to refresh their outdoor space without replacing the structure.

Massive IPE Deck Restoration
We recently completed a large IPE deck and pool‑side skirting. IPE is a premium Brazilian hardwood that requires specialized knowledge to restore correctly. Our expertise with exotic woods ensures the finish lasts and the natural beauty of the material shines through.

House Washing Season Is Here

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stainer/Pressure Washing professional to join our team. This role involves applying stains and finishes to various surfaces and utilizing pressure washing techniques to clean and prepare surfaces for treatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Painting skills are a plus

Duties

Apply stains, sealants, paints and finishes to wood and other surfaces according to project specifications.
Operate pressure washing equipment to clean surfaces effectively, ensuring all dirt, grime, and debris are removed.
Prepare surfaces for staining by sanding, scraping, or cleaning as necessary.
Maintain equipment in good working condition by performing regular checks and minor repairs.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.
Communicate with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise during the job.
Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organized throughout the project.
Qualifications

Previous experience in staining or pressure washing is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
A valid driver's license is mandatory.

Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts, for all you have done in supporting my small business. The referrals, reviews, and shoutouts on social media. Its all fueled us to do some amazing projects. Allowed us to experience places we always dreamed of. We even went to charleston for work for a week which was really cool! We got to spend almost a whole month (combined) surrounded by horses, petted so many pups, transformed and restored countless wood projects, washed big beautiful communities, condos, homes. But more importantly you all allowed us the oppurtunity to see the smile we bring to people. The joy we get from being able to provide good honest work. Cowboy will always make sure! MTC Exterior Pro – Project Highlights from the Past Month 🌟🌟🌟🌟

It’s been a packed few weeks for our team, and while photos only capture part of the story, we love sharing the transformations we’ve been working on. Here’s a deeper look at some of the projects we’ve completed recently:

Farm Walker Pen Restoration
We stripped away old, weathered stain from a walker pen at the farm we’ve been working on. Once the wood was clean and prepped, we applied a rich Walnut stain to match the rest of the fencing and structures on the property. This not only unified the look of the farm but also gave the pen a fresh, durable finish that will stand up to daily use. Working on this farm has been a highlight—we get to combine craftsmanship with our love for horses, and it’s a project that keeps giving back.

Condo and Office Building Washes
We completed a full wash of a condo building to prepare it for painting, ensuring the surface was spotless and ready for a fresh coat. We also tackled several office buildings, removing layers of organic buildup, dirt, and cobwebs. These cleans not only improved the appearance but also helped protect the structures from long-term wear.

Charleston IPE Revival
One of our favorite projects this month took us to Charleston, where we spent a week restoring Brazilian hardwood (IPE). This dense, exotic wood requires careful cleaning and refinishing, and we were able to bring back its natural beauty with precision. Beyond the work, we enjoyed exploring Charleston’s incredible history and culture—it was both a rewarding project and a memorable trip. Check out the INCREDIBLE transformation.

Back Porch Transformation
We stained a large back porch for a family, recoating the rails and applying a solid exterior wood stain across the entire surface. This not only enhanced the look of the porch but also provided long-term protection against the elements. The final result was a warm, inviting outdoor space that the family can enjoy for years to come.

Two-Story Deck Recoat
A client’s two-story deck was showing heavy signs of wear—chipping, cracking, and peeling. We cleaned, sanded it down, repaired the surface, and applied a fresh solid stain. The transformation was dramatic, turning a tired deck into a polished, protected outdoor space.

Farm Fence and Dry Lots
We continued work on the farm, staining long stretches of fencing and tackling dry lot areas. This project has been especially meaningful—horses are a passion of ours, and being able to combine that with our craft makes it unforgettable. There’s still more to do, and we’ll keep sharing updates as the farm comes together beautifully.

IPE Deck Restoration
Another client had a massive IPE deck that hadn’t been maintained in years. After an intensive cleaning and sanding process, we applied a natural stain to allow the wood to gracefully grey out, just as the client envisioned. The deck now has a timeless, weathered look while still being protected.

Mahogany Fence and Lighting
We stained a large fence in a deep mahogany tone and added custom lighting for a close friend. The combination of rich wood color and warm lighting created a stunning effect—functional, elegant, and personal.

HOA Community Wash
We wrapped up washing 16 buildings in a local HOA community. The project was completed in just 3 days, and we were proud to deliver sparkling clean results without disrupting residents’ daily routines. Large-scale projects like this showcase our efficiency and attention to detail.

Residential House Washes
Alongside these bigger jobs, we’ve continued to complete residential house washes, giving homes a fresh, clean look and protecting exteriors from buildup.

🚨 MTC Exterior Pro Project Update 🚨

We’ve been so busy this past month that social media had to take a back seat — which is a blessing in itself. Our team has been hard at work on a massive multi-phase project, on a equestrian farm, all in a beautiful walnut finish. We have had such an incredible time being around all the animals. It has made the work so much more enjoyable. Here’s what we’ve completed so far:

- Stained 300 ft of 8 ft privacy fence
- Stained over 11,000 linear feet of farm fence
- Stained a walker pen for horses
- Stained a garden enclosure
- Stripped another pen (staining up next)

And we’re not done yet — there’s still more fencing and plenty of wooden structures ahead.

Next week, we’ll be in Charleston restoring a large amount of IPE wood. That’s going to be a special transformation, so stay tuned for updates.

In addition to the big projects, we’ve also been keeping up with residential and commercial work:

- Stained a small rail fence for a past client
- Washed 2 large condo buildings
- Stained a front porch for a couple
- Numerous house washes
- Washed 4 office buildings

Residential staining will resume in October, and we’re looking forward to helping more homeowners refresh and protect their properties.

Three Weeks. Nonstop Work. Rain or Shine.

At MTC Exterior Pro , we’ve been pushing through the weather and knocking out projects left and right. From house washes to deck transformations, we’ve caught up on every job and delivered some incredible results. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to:

• Recoated a deck in a fresh solid color after replacing all the top railings and a damaged board—now it looks brand new and built to last.
• Stained a large deck in pecan for a couple in Davidson, giving their outdoor space warmth and protection.
• Applied palomino semi-solid stain to a Charlotte family’s deck, tying their backyard together and sealing it properly for the seasons ahead.
• Completed a deck and fence combo in walnut for friends at their new home in plaza midwood—now their backyard is ready for cookouts, memories, and time with the pups.
• Finished a brand-new deck with a rich redwood stain that turned the space into a true showpiece in concord.
• Removed a failed stain from a beautiful cedar deck, sanded it down, and recoated it in pecan in myers park. We had worked with this client two years ago and were thrilled to see their original fence still holding up—so we stained their new privacy fence to match.
• Cleaned and recoated a deck in concord for a client who had a bad stain job done previously. We fixed it up right, and they were absolutely thrilled with the results.
• Stained a small fence in Mint Hill with pecan, giving it a clean, polished finish.

On top of all that, we’ve washed numerous homes and driveways, bringing back curb appeal across the area. We also repainted two garage doors for a fresh, updated look.

We’re starting a massive farm fence project next week—can’t wait to share the transformation. And in early September, we’re heading to Charleston to restore some stunning Brazilian hardwood. That one’s going to be special, so stay tuned!

Rainy Days, Big Results

The past two weeks have brought plenty of rain—but we kept pushing forward. Gutter cleanings have been in high demand, house washing continues, and we’ve completed three standout deck projects that highlight the care and expertise we bring to every job.

Stairs Saved from Rot
One homeowner had a two-story staircase rebuilt after moisture trapped behind a film-forming stain caused extensive rot. We educated them on Expert Professional Wood Care and provided detailed maintenance steps, and set them up with a lasting solution. Two-Toned Deck Transformation

**Final touches on a stunning property in South Carolina** – We completed the last phase of this project by staining brand-new timbers, enhancing their rich natural grain while protecting them for years to come. To complete the look, we also stained a newly added fence, giving it a fresh, rich finish that complements the property beautifully.

**Revitalizing a massive community pool** – This job was a big one! We meticulously cleaned a large pool, removing layers of grime and buildup so residents can enjoy crystal-clear water all season long. We've just wrapped up a massive project featuring a gorgeous custom-built fence, stained in the elegantly timeless Cape Cod Grey by Stain & Seal Experts - Professional Wood Care . The stain is meticulously hand-applied with multiple coats to ensure an even finish that highlights the natural beauty of the wood while also matching the incredible backyars color scheme. This theme continues onto the front porch which they did in a natural color and an enclosed patio, both of which have been lovingly restored and treated to match the subtle yet striking grey hue of the fence. We've also incorporated a special technique on the back deck, allowing only minimal pigment to transfer to achieve a unique textured finish that perfectly complements the other elements of this outdoor space. The end result? A cohesive and stunning outdoor area that our clients are overjoyed with!

2️⃣ **Deck Refurbishment for New Homeowners**

New beginnings are always exciting, and we were thrilled to help a couple prepare for theirs by refreshing their homes deck before moving!
