Studying some family history this windy day out at the the old cabin ! Windsor Hill, the home of Gen. Moultrie was bought by my great grandfather Dr. Maynard Carrere in 1875 containing 1300 acres where Ashley Phoshate Rd is today . And no I did not get any land, It was sold in 50 acres plots by 1900 .
By the way Gen. Moultrie designed our beautiful state flag !
