Spring rain can lead to water pooling over a septic system,
When the ground becomes saturated due to heavy rain, it limits the soil's ability to absorb excess water, potentially leading to standing water on the septic drain field. This can result in slow drainage & septic backups.

Recommendations are:
Pump the tank
Reduce water usage during and after heavy rain to ease the system's load.
Turn bull valve.

Maintenance is always the best way to keep from emergency issues. Pumping the septic tank every 3-5 years, keeping up on routine schedules; turning the bull valve, service the motors on aeration systems, clearing shrubs and trees away from the area.
