Well... it's been a while.
I've been pretty quiet on here since last fall, and I figured it was time for a little update.
Life threw our family a few curveballs over the past year. Lindsey suffered a traumatic brain injury after a fall and began having seizures, then recently had emergency gallbladder surgery. I also ended up in the hospital after being given the wrong medication, and it's taken quite a while to get back on my feet.
With everything going on, I made the decision to change directions with school. I left Weber State and will be starting a technical program at Salt Lake Community College. It wasn't the path I originally planned, but I think it's the right one for me.
One of the bright spots through all of this has been lacrosse. I've spent just about every free minute I could helping the Viewmont girls however I could, usually with a camera in my hand. It's been rewarding to watch the girls grow throughout the season, and I've really enjoyed sharing those memories with the players and their families.
As for Dad's LAX Detailing, I never stopped detailing. What I did stop was social media. Between everything life had going on and trying to keep my head above water mentally, I just didn't have much left in the tank. Something had to give, and posting online was the first thing to go.
Things are finally starting to settle down, and I'm looking forward to sharing more again—whether it's detailing, lacrosse, photography, or just life around the neighborhood.
To everyone who's supported our family, trusted me with your vehicles, or simply checked in on us over the past year, thank you. We appreciate it more than you know.
It's good to be back.
