A PSA that is very important! Every year you should clean out your dryer vent. This could save your house and your life! If you do not know how, please find someone who does.

The dryer filter should be wiped clean of lint after every use and 1-2 times a year, cleaned with hot water, a toothbrush, and dawn dish soap to clear any built up residue.

Signs your dryer vent is clogged; first one is your laundry is taking too long to dry. Second, “check filter” light won’t shut off. Third, look at your outside vent cover, you should feel air coming out and some have flaps that should open/move when the dryer is on. Lint built up around it could be another sign of an impending clog!

Today, we helped a friend clean 2 large clogs out of their vent. Once outside, we got a clog to move, and the lint covered Rich, head to toe. It was crazy! This picture shows some of the aftermath, it does no justice for how bad it was!

I often have my husband along for meetings with new clients and you’ll hear/see me say, “we.” I wanted to take a moment to introduce, Rich.

Rich is my husband, best friend, and my biggest supporter! Sometimes he cleans with me on his days off. His “real” job is working as a local detective and being a hero to many. ❤️ If you want to see a truly spotless home, button corners on a bed, without a wrinkle in sight…go look after we’ve tackled one together! You’ll find us laughing, singing, and enjoying our time.

Behind the scenes, Rich works on the website, all the legal docs, sends the invoices, and helps wherever I need him. Without him, my dreams wouldn’t have come to fruition. So, even though this is *my* business, Rich is really the backbone to it! 🙂

Thank you all for the likes/follows! Sorry we’ve been quiet, we’ve been getting all the legalities squared away, while staying busy cleaning!

For those who don’t know me or at least know me well…I am Jess Theberge, owner and your favorite cleaner. 😉 I started housekeeping when I was 16 or 17, so over 20 years 😳 of professional cleaning experience. I am very meticulous, some say OCD about cleaning, and I take pride in that. I am smoke free and COVID safe/vaccinated.
