Hey friends 🥰. Em's on hiatus again. While my pain went down in February. Later in that month, I developed a nasty ovarian cyst... Over 3/28-4/2 it has now turned into a complex cyst measuring at around 3.8cm. This will likely turn into an endometrioma/chocolate cyst 😢.
Thankfully I got the appropriate care I needed and I'm on watchful waiting for the symptoms this ovarian cyst rupture has caused.
I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2013. I was diagnosed with PCOS a year after my Endo diagnosis.
I've suffered with these 2 reproductive disorders since I was 14 years old. Now, I am finally pending a full hysterectomy with the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics here.
I know I'll be back, better, and stronger than ever next year. Until then, I'll be around volunteering in my community as my body allows me to do so healthily.
Thanks to all y'all who have stuck by me since I started this lil cleaning & miscellaneous task service biz back in August 2024. It's been an absolute joy in my life.
Time for Em to heal herself up 🫂
