Alfalfa, broccoli, and brown speckled pea sprouts should be ready in about 3-4 days .

Helpful tips: to keep your greens /salad longer put paper towel on bottom and on top of the salad and put in the refrigerator. This will allow the paper towel to absorb the water and will help it stay fresh longer .
If you don’t use paper towels Simply use a rag, or Swedish towel .

Want to start seedling? Don’t pay a lot for seedling trays Instead use what you have at home. Toilet paper rolls…instead of throwing them away use them for seedling pots and they are biodegradable too!🌱

Not sprout or microgreen related but helpful planting tips:

Did you know you can grow vegetables from scraps you were already going to throw away?
Celery and romaine lettuce can be grown in your window seal…. Cut off the end and put in some water. Change water out periodically . When ready just cut off what you need and it will keep growing 🌱

Potatoes going bad? The white things on the potatoes that grow (the eyes) just simple plant the whole potato or cut sections with the eyes and let dry out a few days . Then plant them and one eye will make 10 potatoes !
Can’t dig into the ground ? That’s ok use a dollar tree clothes hamper , put paper bags around the inside and fill up with soil and plant your potatoes. The paper will dissolve and you will have potatoes growing out of the wholes of the laundry basket !
