Public Announcement!! Sorry for not keeping the page up to date with the before and after photos of our year so far. We have been extremely busy so far with just word of mouth and washing for previous years customers. It’s crazy but we were afraid of having to turn people away or booking out to far with no openings early this year! That said we are beginning to catch up and have some openings coming up towards the second half of May and June. It’s been a while since we’ve done some aluminum siding but we got to do some this last weekend… we also did vinyl. If you have siding and you live in NY then the north side of your house probably looks a lot like this. The others sides will be dirty to but NY loves growing moss / mildew on the north! This week has been a busy week for Grime Fighters. This is our third summer in business and it is by far our best summer yet. This week we washed roofs, trek decking, vinyl fences, houses, and concrete. This week we went out to Radison and cleaned a roof. The black streaks that we see are caused by a buildup of gloeocapsa-magma algae. This is a blue/green strain of algae, which feeds on the limestone found in asphalt shingles as a filler. It happens before the moss starts growing. With our roof wash you’ll instantly see the removal of the gleocapsa-magma. I you have your roof washed and there is moss you’ll see some change instantly but you’ll notice the moss turns white. At that point it is dead and over the course of a couple weeks it will loose its legs that have grown into your shingles, dry up, and blow/wash off.

We made it to Lakeport and Cicero today and we made peoples homes clean. That makes us happy!!
