God is Love, and this is the house that Love built!
Some of my absolute FAVORITE cleanings I've ever performed I don't get paid for.
Today, myself and 11 other textile cleaners from 5 other companies banded together to clean the Ronald McDonald house in Baltimore.
I first cleaned the Ronald McDonald House Charities(RMHC) house 2 years ago. Before then, I had zero clue as to the absolute loving role that they play when families are having a medical emergency.
In an anology, St. Jude is to hospitals as RMHC is to Housing. For example, if a family has a child who has cancer and needs treatment at a Baltimore Metro area facility, RMHC will house and take care of that family for the duration of their stay. 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year.... it doesn't matter! Shelter, food, toiletries, transportation.... taken care of!
I can not even begin to tell you how much of an honor it is to donate my time and expertise in my occupation to this cause!
I couldn't imagine the barrage of familial logistics that would need to occur if one of my children were sick and needed medical treatment. RMHC takes this out of the equation for these families!
The next time that you're at McDonald's and you see the change box for RMHC, please place your extra change in the box! I promise it goes to a WONDERFUL cause.

My words don't even begin to describe how wonderful of a place, how wonderful the staff is, and how wonderful of a Godsend that RMHC Baltimore is to families in need!
I'm exhausted from the work of the day, but this is one of my favorite days of the year by far!
