Complete Carpet Solutions

We cleaned a couch yesterday that the homeowner had cleaned l a few times themselves. There was quite a bit of residue from the solution they used left in the fabric. That residue usually gets slightly sticky causing it to get dirty faster than normal. You can see the residue (white bubbles)being pulled from the fabric in the pic. The second picture shows what it should look like without residue or the solution left in the fabric.

This was a fun one this evening! I tried a new booster for the prespray and was amazed at how well it worked!

The black lines around the edges are called filtration lines. They are semi permanent. Most of the time, they will not come out with a normal carpet cleaning. They usually require a filtration line cleaner and a bit of elbow grease. Change your filters more often and don't use the high merv filters if you want to avoid this. Some houses are definitely worse than others!

I have posted about this before but never hurts to post again. These lines may stay for a while after being restretched. They should eventually blend in once the carpet has a chance to relax. It may take a couple of weeks.
