After 10 years, I can’t believe I’m actually writing this…

I have officially made the decision to close the door on my cleaning business and step into a completely new chapter and career.

For the last 10 years, this little business has been such a huge part of my life. What started as a little side job became so much more than that. It gave me the flexibility to grow my family, raise my boys , be there for the important moments, and build a life around the people who mattered most to me.

And I was only able to do that because of all of you.

To every single person who has ever trusted me with their home....whether I cleaned for you for a short time, for several years, or you're one of the 20+ homes I still walk into regularly today — THANK YOU.

Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for supporting my small business. Thank you for referring me to your friends and families and helping me build a business that stayed full for all these years.

Thank you for the patience and flexibility through pregnancy, babies, sick kids, school schedules, snow days, appointments, vacations, sports, and all of the craziness that comes with raising a family. Thank you for understanding that behind the person cleaning your home was also a mom trying to build a business while raising two little boys who somehow aren't so little anymore.

So many of you became much more than clients. I've watched your families grow and change. I've celebrated with you, cried with you, talked your ears off, heard about your lives, your kids, your grandkids, your good days and your hard ones. Somewhere along the way, a lot of "clients" became people I genuinely looked forward to seeing and people I consider friends and family.

Walking away from something I spent 10 years building AND saying goodbye to over 20 amazing clients at once, is incredibly bittersweet. This business has been good to me and good to my family, and I will always be proud of what I built.

But the same business that gave me the opportunity to grow my family and raise my boys has now given me the confidence to choose something new for myself.

I'm excited, nervous, sad, proud, and probably every emotion in between as I close this chapter.

Please know how much it all meant to me and how hard this decision truly is.

There will never be a big enough THANK YOU 🙏

⚠️⚠️Cleaning Service Policies⚠️⚠️

24-Hour Cancellation Policy

As a small business owner, my schedule is carefully planned, and last-minute cancellations are often difficult to fill. I kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning appointment. This gives me the opportunity to offer your time slot to another client.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Scheduling Policy

To provide consistent service to all of my clients, each client is assigned a regular cleaning day and time. Your scheduled day is reserved specifically for you.

Because I work independently and maintain a full schedule of over 20 recurring clients each month, I am generally unable to accommodate requests to switch to a different day or time. While I will always do my best when my schedule allows, schedule changes are rarely available.

If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday or you need to cancel your appointment, your service will simply resume at your next regularly scheduled cleaning.

Thank you for understanding and respecting these policies. They allow me to provide reliable, consistent service to every client while keeping my schedule fair for everyone.

Appointment Responsibility

Clients are responsible for remembering their scheduled cleaning appointments and ensuring the home is accessible at the scheduled time. While I may occasionally send reminders as a courtesy, reminders are not guaranteed and should not be relied upon.

A Personal Note

Many of my clients have become like family over the years, and I truly appreciate how kind, understanding, and respectful you are of my time and business. Honestly, it saddens me that I even have to put these policies in writing, as they've never been necessary for the vast majority of my wonderful clients.

Unfortunately, a few recent situations have made it important for me to establish clear policies so that expectations are the same for everyone. These policies are simply in place to help my small business run smoothly and fairly, allowing me to continue providing the best service possible to all of my clients.

I cannot say thank you enough to my amazing people. I truly appreciate all of your patience with the kids getting sick and me coming down with influenza B. I cannot remember the last time I was this ill.
