🐱🐾 **HAPPY NATIONAL CAT DAY! LET'S TALK PET-FRIENDLY FLOORING!** 🐾🐱

We love our furry friends, but let's be real… between the shedding, muddy paws, spilled water bowls, hairballs, and the occasional pet accident, our floors go through A LOT! 😂

In honor of **National Cat Day (October 29)**, let's talk about something every pet owner should consider: **What type of tile is best for homes with animals?** 🏡

🧱 **THE BEST TILE OPTIONS FOR PET OWNERS:**

✅ **Porcelain Tile – Our Top Pick!** 🏆

Porcelain tile is durable, highly water-resistant, and easy to clean! It's a great choice for homes with cats and dogs because it stands up well to everyday messes, scratches, and spills.

✅ **Ceramic Tile – A Great Alternative!**

Glazed ceramic tile is another pet-friendly option! It's easy to wipe down, comes in tons of styles, and can be a budget-friendly choice for many homes.

✅ **Matte or Textured Tile – Better Traction!** 🐾

Smooth, glossy floors can be slippery for pets, especially older animals. Choosing tile with a suitable matte or textured finish can help provide better traction for those zoomies across the living room! 😂

✅ **Larger Tiles – Fewer Grout Lines!**

Larger tiles mean fewer grout joints, which means fewer places for pet hair, dirt, and accidents to collect. Choosing stain-resistant grout can make cleanup even easier!

🐈 **PET OWNER PRO TIP!**

While tile is easy to clean, not all tile is created equal! For homes with pets, we recommend considering **durable porcelain tile with a matte finish and stain-resistant grout** for a great balance of appearance, durability, and easy maintenance.

And don't forget a soft, cozy spot for your furry friends to curl up! ❤️

💬 **LET'S TALK PETS!**

🐱 Are you a CAT person?

🐶 A DOG person?

🐾 Or do you have a whole zoo at home? 😂

👇 **Drop a picture of your furry family member in the comments! We'd love to see them!** 📸

🎄🏡 **HOLIDAY HOSTING: IS YOUR KITCHEN BACKSPLASH READY FOR GUESTS?** 🍂✨

The holidays are right around the corner, and you know what that means… family gatherings, delicious meals, holiday baking, and LOTS of time spent in the kitchen! 🦃🎁

But here's a question… **Is your kitchen ready for all that holiday attention?** 👀

Your kitchen is often the heart of your home, especially during the holidays. And sometimes, a simple upgrade can make a BIG difference!

🧱 **WHY A NEW TILE BACKSPLASH IS WORTH CONSIDERING:**

✅ **Instant Kitchen Makeover!** A beautiful backsplash can completely transform the look of your kitchen without a full remodel.

✅ **Easier Cleanup!** Properly installed tile provides a durable, easy-to-clean surface for everyday cooking splashes and holiday messes.

✅ **Endless Design Options!** From classic subway tile to bold patterns and modern large-format designs, there's something for every style.

✅ **Protect Your Walls!** A backsplash helps protect the wall behind your counters from everyday splashes and stains.

✅ **A Lasting Upgrade!** Unlike seasonal decorations, a quality tile backsplash is something you can enjoy for years to come!

💡 **HOLIDAY HOME TIP:** You don't always need a complete kitchen renovation to give your space a fresh new look. Sometimes, the little details make the biggest impact!

🎅 **PLANNING TO HOST THIS HOLIDAY SEASON?**

Now is a great time to start thinking about those kitchen upgrades you've been putting off. Plan ahead to allow time for material selection and installation!

💬 **LET'S TALK!**

If you could change ONE thing about your kitchen before the holidays, what would it be?

🎨 A new backsplash?
🏡 New countertops?
🧱 New flooring?
✨ Or a complete kitchen makeover?

🏡✨ **BIG TILE, BIG STYLE! WHY LARGE-FORMAT TILE IS TAKING OVER MODERN HOMES!** ✨🏡

Have you noticed that tile seems to be getting BIGGER? 👀

From luxurious walk-in showers to beautiful open-concept living spaces, **large-format tile is becoming a popular choice for homeowners looking for a sleek, modern look!**

But what's making bigger tiles so popular? 🤔

🧱 **HERE'S WHY HOMEOWNERS LOVE LARGE-FORMAT TILE:**

✅ **Fewer Grout Lines!** Larger tiles mean fewer grout joints, creating a cleaner, more seamless appearance and less grout to maintain.

✅ **Makes Spaces Feel Bigger!** Large-format tiles can create a more open, spacious appearance, even in smaller bathrooms!

✅ **Modern & Luxurious!** Bigger tiles offer a high-end look that works beautifully in kitchens, bathrooms, showers, and living areas.

✅ **Easier Everyday Cleaning!** With fewer grout lines, there are fewer places for dirt and grime to collect.

✅ **Beautiful Design Options!** From marble-look porcelain to natural stone appearances, large-format tile offers endless design possibilities.

⚠️ **BUT HERE'S SOMETHING IMPORTANT!**

Installing large-format tile requires special attention to detail!

The larger the tile, the more important proper surface preparation, flatness, mortar coverage, and professional installation become.

An uneven surface can lead to lippage, cracked tiles, and expensive repairs.

💡 **BIG TILE REQUIRES BIG PRECISION!**

At **Around The Edges Tile**, we understand that beautiful tile starts with proper preparation and quality craftsmanship.

💬 **LET'S TALK TILE!**

Would you choose **large-format tile with fewer grout lines** or **smaller traditional tile with more patterns and detail?**

👇 Tell us which style you prefer!

🔨 **WHAT REALLY GOES INTO A PROFESSIONAL TILE INSTALLATION?** 🏡

When you see a beautiful finished tile floor, shower, or backsplash, you're only seeing the final result. But what about all the work that happens BEFORE the first tile is laid? 👀

At **Around The Edges Tile**, we know that a quality tile installation starts long before the tile goes down!

🧱 **HERE'S WHAT YOU DON'T SEE:**

✅ **Surface Preparation:** Making sure the surface is clean, stable, and properly prepared. Uneven or damaged surfaces can lead to cracked tiles and costly repairs.

✅ **Waterproofing:** In showers and wet areas, a properly installed waterproofing system is essential to protecting your home from moisture damage.

✅ **Layout & Planning:** Measuring, finding centerlines, planning cuts, and making sure the finished tile looks balanced and professional.

✅ **Choosing the Right Materials:** Using appropriate mortars, membranes, grout, and other installation products for each specific project.

✅ **Precision Installation:** Proper spacing, alignment, mortar coverage, and attention to detail make all the difference.

✅ **Grouting & Finishing:** The final details bring everything together and help create a durable, beautiful finished surface.

💡 **DID YOU KNOW?**

A tile installation can look absolutely perfect on the surface but still fail because of shortcuts taken underneath!

**The most important part of your tile installation might be the part you'll never see.**

💬 **LET'S TALK!**

Have you ever had tile crack, grout fall apart, or a shower leak? What happened?

🏡🔨 ANOTHER PROPERTY, ANOTHER FRESH START! 🧹✨

JNC Investments has purchased another property, and we’re rolling up our sleeves to clean it out, clear the clutter, and get started on remodeling! 💪🏽🏠

This is the THIRD property for JNC Investments, and we are incredibly thankful for the opportunities to continue growing, improving properties, and bringing new life into spaces! ❤️

We often get asked, “What do you do with all the stuff you junk haul?” 🤔

Great question! Here’s how we handle it:

🗑️ Trash gets tossed. The obvious garbage and items that can’t be reused are disposed of properly.

💰 Sell what we can. Items that still have value may find a new home with someone who can use them.

♻️ Donate what we can. If something is still useful, we do our best to give it another chance instead of sending everything to the landfill.

We believe that cleaning out a property doesn't mean everything inside is worthless. Sometimes one person's unwanted item is exactly what someone else has been looking for! 🙌

The exciting part? Our family of brands brings different skills to the table, allowing us to tackle projects from cleanouts to restoration, remodeling, and beyond!

🛠️ Our family of brands includes:

Around The Edges — Property improvements, repairs, tile, and junk hauling

Fresh Start Cleaning — Residential, commercial, and specialty cleaning

At-Ease Restoration — Restoration and cleanup services

JNC Interiors — Remodeling, renovations, and additions

MSRV Rentals — RV and camper rentals for your next adventure

Different brands, different specialties, but one shared goal: making things better and creating new opportunities! 🏡✨

We are so grateful for every customer, partner, and opportunity that helps us keep moving forward. Thank you for being part of our journey! ❤️

👇 Have you ever wondered what happens to items during a property cleanout? Drop your questions in the comments!
