Lots of people mop hardwood with vinegar and water, but vinegar is an acid. Over time, it eats away at your floor’s protective finish and leaves the wood looking dull and worn.

Instead, use a cleaner made for hardwood and a damp (not wet!) microfiber mop. Your floors will thank you.
