As some of you know, I have been dealing with a lot of health issues since sissy was born back in June.
After a syncope episode landed me in the ER in October, I was finally given a referral to Neuro.
I was able to see a Neurosurgeon earlier this month, and he sent me on December 23rd to have an updated MRI as well as a CINE MRI.
The MRI showed that my Chiari had descended to 14mm (only 9mm in October) and the pressure from the CSF blockage is comparable to a patient with a TBI.
Due to how rapidly the symptoms are progressing, and how far it has descended in such a short period of time, that leads us to believe the pressure will only get worse.
So unfortunately our only option is the decompression surgery.
Since Josh used all of his PTO to be home with us when sissy was born, he won't have enough to cover his entire absence after surgery. Recovery will take 4 weeks minimum, and he has roughly 40 hours of PTO.
To prepare ourselves financially, I've decided to reopen my books for new/returning clients.
Until we have a final date for surgery, I will only be opening 2 weeks at a time.
This is for Basic Cleans only, and will be $150.
Below is my availability for January.
A $50 deposit is due at booking and may be paid by Venmo, Cashapp or Zelle
