My brother and I are teaming up, he has 30 plus years of landscaping, yard work. We offer clean outs on properties for real estate or investors to get properties ready to rent or sell again , we take care of anything inside or outside. Just goes to show you all and how we see something, meaning it's our perception

Pulled up to the McDonald’s drive-thru, handed the cashier a crisp $50 bill. She sets it on the counter, whips out a marker, and gives it a good swipe.

A moment later, she frowns and pushes it back. “Sorry, sir, I can’t take this—it’s counterfeit. See that dark line? Fake money.”

Confused, I reply, “What? This came straight from the bank!” But she’s not budging.

Fine. I dig out another $50, hand it over. She repeats the process, marks it, stares at it, and shakes her head. “Yeah… this one’s fake too.”

Now I’m standing there, completely lost. “Hold on… BOTH my $50s are fake?! No way!”

Then it hits me. I lean forward and ask the real question:

“Uh… are you using a Sharpie?”

She freezes, eyes the marker for an uncomfortably long time, then sighs. “Yes sir, I am.” 😑
