It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the passing of Mark Pinkston. ❤️

Mark wasn't just part of A-1 Safety Chimney Service he was a huge part of the heart behind it.

More than 35 years ago, Mark and Kathleen built this company together from the ground up. What started as a small family business became something they were incredibly proud of, and eventually something they trusted their children, James and Jenelle, to help carry forward.

Mark believed in hard work, taking care of people, doing things the right way, and above all else, taking care of his family. Those values became a part of A-1 Safety and will continue to be a part of this company for as long as we're here.

Mark fought an incredibly difficult battle with cancer for the last 16 months. He fought with more strength and determination than we could ever put into words, surrounded by the family he loved so much.

To our customers, employees, friends and everyone who has reached out, prayed for Mark, asked about him, or shown our family kindness throughout his illness, thank you. It has meant more to our family than you know.

We are absolutely heartbroken, but incredibly proud of everything Mark built and the legacy he leaves behind.

Rest easy, Dad. We'll take it from here. ❤️
